Coming into this election, our beloved candidates were all in for the positions of SGC President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and House Captains. With total candidate number of 17, the race was, by all means, tough. Fortunately, this toughness has breed some creativity and breathtaking speeches from our future little leaders.
A look at some of our candidates:
Ngo Gia Nghia (President Candidate)
Gia Nghia promises a fun and engaging school environment, filled with creative events like water fights, game days, and more! His goal is to bring change, creativity, and inclusivity to TNIS.
Minso Kim (Bella) (Draco House Captain Candidate)
Bella is focused on empowerment, collaboration, and fun. She wants to lead Draco House to victory again by enhancing communication and ensuring inclusivity across all grades.
Do Dieu Linh (Jennifer) (President Candidate)
Jennifer’s campaign is all about energy, creativity, and unity as she made her speech a rap song! She aims to boost school spirit with fun events and a focus on making TNIS a more inclusive and vibrant place for everyone.
This Friday will be the next stage of the SGO elections. Students will be voting for all positions online, or by paper ballots. Results will be announced next week, with newly elected officers welcomed on Monday, September 9, during the morning assembly.
